Diabetes Shots

GIMME BLOOD
This is my trusty blood kit that goes everywhere with me. My main meter is a Freestyle Flash, but my lancing device is an Accu-Chek Multiclix, thanks to the Diabetes Online Community. I HATED the Freestyle lancing device, which gave me huge, gaping wounds and I mentioned it in a blog. The Accu-Chek came highly recommended and I’ve never looked back.

There will be blood....

With Ditto (my pump) I am all *ping*ed out now...so One Touch be what I use.

I think I still have a Multiclix. It is fantabulous.

You need to give me your email. Just sayin'. Give, give, give.....and you so should vlog one day. ;-)

Oh yes the trusty meter kit , are any of us really without one anywhere we go ? I know Im not . I actually dropped my back pack one day and someone helped me pick all of the things that spilled and they were like gosh you carry all of this with you every day ? yes I do was my reply . Makes one wonder what they might have been thinking , truly something to make you or someone else go hmmm....

Ahh, it looks so nice that way. I think that if it looks nice and neat when you open it, then you will be more inspired to test your sugar more often. I need to stop leaving used strips in mine though. Thanks for reminding me to clean it out :)

I have a fancy-pants leather executive-style Desang bag for all my diabetic rubbish which goes with me everywhere. It's now looking a little ragged - and I never clean off the little pools of dried blood that acumulate.

It's pretty grim when you think about it.

Is it me or is the multiclix wearing the thing to do the forarm pokes?
